NEW: Expanded Range of Prosthetic Components for Submerged Implants

5. November 2025

We are pleased to announce a significant expansion of our range of prosthetic components designed with a strong focus on optimal solutions for submerged implants. These new additions provide greater flexibility when selecting components that best match the patient’s individual anatomical conditions.

Overview of Key New Products:

  • Taller gingiva formers (L = 8 and 10 mm): These allow for maintaining the necessary extension above the margin of the adapted soft tissue, which is essential for patients with a thick gingival biotype and subcrestal implant placement.
  • Concave gingiva formers: A new shape for wide, extra-wide, and bridge indications prevents contact with bone and ensures correct seating in the implant, especially when placed 2 mm subcrestally.
  • New taller cover screws (1, 2, and 3 mm): Their use prevents bone overgrowth above the screw in submerged implants, eliminating the need for subsequent bone removal. They are available for both prosthetic platforms.
  • New AN fixation screws with a higher head: These screws with a higher head enable optimal positioning of the screw channel while maintaining the angulation range, providing greater handling comfort, functionality, and aesthetics.
  • Uni-Base and Uni-Base AN bases: We have expanded the range of gingival heights (L), now including the new L3.5 height, available in both straight and angulated versions. Angulated (AN) bases allow optimal positioning of the fixation screw channel in the crown.

Updated Digital Libraries

We have updated the digital libraries of the universal Uni-Base bases for 3Shape and exocad systems. Straight and angulated bases with gingival heights L0.7, L2.5, and L3.5 have been added. The latest library versions are now available on the LASAK website.
