The procedure for manufacturing LASAK CadCam frameworks using digital data

The frameworks can be designed on scanners using the *STL data file format.

In LASAK BioniQ® and IMPLADENT systems, you can design the frameworks with your own scanner using the LASAK CAD library and LASAK scanbodies.

  • CAD library data containing files with platforms and scanbodies can be downloaded at the CAD libraries website, where you can find further information. Currently, the BioniQ® CAD libraries are available for the following software: 3Shape, exocad and Dental Wings (DWOS). If you need IMPLADENT system libraries, please email us at cadcam@lasak.cz. Install the data into your own library and design the framework with the appropriate platforms.
  • At the Order form website, please fill in all the required details in the order form. If you are not registered, please register first. If you have already registered, just log in.
  • If the framework will be manufactured directly from your data, LASAK cannot guarantee the accuracy of the manufactured framework.
  • For guaranteed accuracy of bridges, as in LASAK CadCam PRECISION, please send the master cast with the undamaged implant analogs. Our specialists will scan the precise positions of the implants to match them with your .*STL file containing the designed framework. Please send the master cast to: LASAK, CadCam Center, Ceskobrodska 1047/46, 190 00 Praha 9 – Hloubetin, Czech Republic.

Procedure for manufacturing LASAK CadCam frameworks using a master cast

  • Adapt the temporary abutment on the implant analog in a master cast.
    • Single crown – indexed abutment
    • Bridge – non-indexed abutment
It is necessary to use undamaged implant analogs firmly anchored in the model to achieve maximum accuracy.
  • The desired shape of the framework should be modelled from plastic materials (Pattern Resin, Pikuplast, Superpont C+B etc.). We do not recommend wax-based models as they may get deformed during transport. The extent of the framework, size of the teeth and occlusion height will be determined by the technician. It is not necessary to send an opposing model or articulator.
  • At the Order form website, please fill in all the required details in the order form. If you are not registered, please register first. If you have already registered, just log in.
  • Send the master cast with the soft tissue mask and resin model of the framework (for large bridge, fixed to implant analogs at least in two positions) to: LASAK, CadCam Center, Ceskobrodska 1047/46, 190 00 Praha 9 – Hloubetin, Czech Republic.
